Dr Neroli Porter is a general ophthalmologist, with extensive experience in glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetes management. She is the daughter of prominent Brisbane ophthalmologist, Dr Geoffrey Porter who first established what is now known as Eye Care Queensland in 1968. She continues her father’s practice proudly, with her brother, Dr Rowan Porter.

It was here that she gained extensive experience in management of macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease.

Neroli was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, in 2004. Returning to Brisbane, she then joined her father and brother at Eye Care Queensland, in Annerley and Mount Gravatt, welcoming their now colleague, Dr Andrew Kleinschmidt, in 2006.

Neroli has published articles in numerous international journals, and spoken at conferences both locally and overseas. When not at work, Neroli enjoys devoting her time to her family, and when time allows, paddle boarding and distance running.
